About N Bit Consulting
Background
Nick Bartoo is the founder and lead consultant of N Bit Consulting, providing Information Technology (IT)
services in the National Capital Region. N Bit Consulting began operations in 1998 and is
registered in Fairfax County in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
History
Nick Bartoo and his associates have been working on websites and
databases since the technology became
mainstream in the early 1990s. Nick Bartoo has developed and/or
maintained hundreds of web and database capabilities for several
Government, commercial, and non-profit organizations in the
National Capital Region.
Contracting
Most contracts are "time and material,"
charged at an hourly rate (discounts available for Government and
Non-profit customers). Initial consultation is free with no
obligation. Hourly level of effort is mutually determined and
agreed before hours are charged. Work is completed offsite or onsite
by Nick Bartoo or a qualified associate consultant. N Bit
Consulting will provide a contract document, or use the customer's existing template. Direct payment is accepted via Credit Card
processing service, check, or funds transfer. If a Government contracting vehicle
is required, (e.g. GSA) then arrangements will be made with an
associate corporation. N Bit Consulting will assist with the
creation of proposal/compete documentation.
